For sale is my fantastic JTW Astronomy P75 mount which was in my observatory from October 2022 until June 2024. This mount has a 75kg payload capacity and is friction drive - it was an absolute beast of a mount, carrying my 12" F4 Skywatcher 300P with ease. Being a friction drive mount, it has no backlash issues to worry about, can handle wind and has an extremely small PE that is easily guided out with PHD2.
This mount does have cosmetic damage from the UPS courier when they shipped - this was the reason that Mark, the owner of JTW Astronomy said that's not good enough and offered me a replacement mount which I accepted. I upgraded to the new GTR and opted for 24 bit absolute encoders which recently arrived, so now the P75 is up for sale! It wasn't practical to send the P75 back to Mark due to shipping costs so we're selling it in Australia.
The mount comes with a brand new Manticore controller running Onstep X, 2x 12kg counterweights and Mark is also including a 2 year warranty.
