Damaged Skywatcher Tripod

I'm engaged in a very disciplined clean up of the shed and need to move this tripod on to a new home. It is a tripod from a HEQ5 Pro mount that had an 'event' which resulted in the locating pin being broken off. I've since modified the tripod to with a 3/8" screw threaded rod so that I can mount hardware that has 3/8" mountings. Specifically in my case I was using it to carry my Skywatcher Star Adventurer mount and it works quite well for that and is much more stable than the flimsy tripods that (used to) come to the Star Adventurer mount.

I will include the original screw rod that was used to secure the HEQ5 mount head as well. If one were so inclined, it would not be difficult to drill a hole where the mounting pin is located and use some threaded rod to make a new locating pin. I, however, have too many other projects on to be bothered fiddling with this.

I'm happy to let this go as free to good home, just pay for the postage.

CS,
Rodney

Tripod

Hi Rodney, I'd like to grab this if it's available as I bought a mount recently that's missing the tripod. Happy to drive out and pick it up.
