Ngc 300 lrgb

An LRGB version of NGC 300. Needed some Ha - another project for later.
There are about 40 galaxies in this image!

nice shot mate. I was thinking of giving this galaxy a crack. What integration time did you have

I use an ASI 2600MM cmos camera. Lum was 40 exposures at 3 min and each of the R, G and B was 15 exposures at 4 min each. Scope is a Tak 130mm.

Hi John,
a great picture on a hard dim target.
I would love to see a larger version of say 2 megabytes
like they have on AstroBin.

I think the background is too dark at only 9 bits out of 255 bits.
It looks much better if the background
is brought up to say 25 bits out of 255 bits using curves in PS.

Love it. Its odd that this galaxy gives off that cotton wool look.
