NGC55 Cropped

GDay all.
NGC55 taken with a 90mm ASKAR. Tad too distant for a small scope so I had to crop it pretty harsh.

The cropped version looks fine to me, that little scope has captured plenty of detail. Nicely processed as well. Good work Steve.

Glad you liked it. Wasn't too sure how a galaxy would look like. And it was in the back yard which was handy.

Reckon that looks mazing to my eye! And especially considering the fl you're at, there's stacks of detail and colour - even those Ha regions are popping! Love it!!

David Glad you liked it. My info might be misleading. What I was getting at its 90mm aperture with 500mm focal length. Thought the scope may be too wide to see anything. Gurus who take galaxy photos seem to use longer focal scopes. I did blend some Ha.

Great image, Steve - lots of colour and detail to be seen in the galaxy.
