First moon Picture

Hey all,
Being new to this astronomy and photography scene I thought I'd throw a piccy i took last weekend with my Canon 400D DSLR. ISO 200, f5.8, using the 75-300mm lens zoomed at 150mm and 1x15sec exposure.
enjoy

NB. Zoom might help a bit until I work out this Photoshop stuff

Nice try there Benno, the moon makes a great target to try out your astrophotography settings. Look forward to more images from you.

Hey Benno, nice start. Try zooming all the way to 300mm, and crop the picture out to get it as a bigger scale.

Also use the histogram function to make sure the bright areas aren't overexposed! The great thing with digital is you can adjust your settings after checking the shot and take more!
