More moonage from last night

J Herschel crater
Taken last night .This is a large old walled plain crater located in the north west of the moon , close to its limb. The crater is worn by impacts and has an irregular walls and uneven floor and has a diameter of 154 Km.
10% of 10,000 frames , C11 and ASI 290MM. Processed in autostacker , wavelets in registax , level/ curves in gimp.hope you like this one .

Wow that’s great. Really tricky shot to keep those highlights under control and still get all that shadowy detail. Beautiful!

Yes, great result.

I too, was observing and imaging the same crater and surrounds last night. I did not achieve anywhere near the same level of detail as I was only using a 100mm refractor at 1600mm focal length.
