Wanderer Astro Rotator

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anyone here has an experience using the Wanderer Astro Rotator (specifically the mini). I see they have released a version 2 since there were problems with power over usb with the first version. Has anyone managed to power it from, say, the usb hub on an ASI camera?

This has nothing to do with the rotator. I have a Wanderer mini power box v2 which the original also had issues with blowing up. The powerbox lasted 3-4 goes before the USB HUB packed it in. I'm lucky that I bought it from an Aussie retailer and that their warranty support is very good. The thing is I made a DIY power management solution since sending it in for warranty and trust that more than the wanderer. This is my experience with the brand. YMMV.
