23rd and 24th August Sunspots

23rd August.

A nice sunny morning allowed me to take this image of the sun and its sunspots. Of note are AR3413 and AR 3415 coming into view on the eastern limb. Single exposure with Canon 550d attached to a herschel wedge, 81 mm WO refractor. There was an M1.1 flare around AR3405 an hour or so before this image was taken.

24th August
Todays view shows the movement of the sunspots from yesterday.

Thanks for viewing.
