NGC1977 The Running Man Nebula

Recovered from my old Google Plus archive, so I have no acquisition details. Was probably done with a 127mm refractor and a Canon 6D on an EQ8.

Nice to see it framed without its big brother M42. I can't help not seeing Gumby when I look at this nebula.

Well done Tim.
I propose that from this day the "Running Man" nebula be know as and referred to as, and only as,..."GUMBY" in casual conversation and as "The GUMBY NEBULA" on formal occassions.

I really like the subtle blue reflection nebula interwoven with the running Gumby. Such a cool view!

Good work, Tim. Will you try to catch the Gumby when it's visible again?

Nice Gumby mate. I'm only now getting to really appreciate how good the 6D really is. Nice one.
