Super Star Cluster Omega Centauri

The greatest of the star clusters in the Milky Way, and second most massive in the local group Omega Centauri is the star cluster to photograph when you dont like photographing star clusters

"Tiny" 2 hr integration in just r, g and b. No luminance. SPCC really didnt play well with this data and persistently calibrated to hard towards the red, so dialled in the colour balance with the mk1 eyeball. Pixelmath GHS to get the backgrounds consistent, then histograms/curves.

Hope you like! As always, clearer version here: https://www.astrobin.com/sfj9g2/

Yes, I like it! Looks sharp and sparkly I rely on the mk1 eyeball, pretty much all the time...unlike other parts of the body, bit like a carpenter, it becomes a remarkably precise tool after 20 years of digital astro-processing
