Cats Paw NGC 6334

Hi everyone,

after some extreme weather I have been fortunate
to have had some clear nights.

Image taken 10/11.07.23.

I have been been apprehensive to post pics but thought
I might dip my toe in again.

Cats Paw NGC 6334

90 x 180 secs

Skywatcher 72 ED
.08 reducer flattener

ZWO 533MC Pro
101 Gain -10 C

Skywatcher AZEQ-6

A bit of a challenge but I am pleased with the results.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Paul,

Very nicely done, with good colour and separation between the nebula and the background.

Nothing to be afraid of here - we're all beginners at one point.

Regards,
V

Beautiful image, Paul. Good colour, detail and sharpness and the stars look great. Keep em coming. Btw, I have your mount, a variant of your refrac and the 533MC too and I reckon they're a great combo ... looking fwd to seeing more of your images. Alex

Hi Paul,
Glad you posted this image of the Cats Paw, don’t be apprehensive
Well done !!
An excellent capture with some nice detail , framed perfectly and colour is good too
My only suggestion would be to dampen down the Starfield a tad to accentuate the nebula
A fine image all the same

Cheers
Martin
