Sun June 19th - Proms

Some lovely prominences on display today.
Quick DSLR shot. I find proms come out better with my DSLR than my ZWO cameras.

Lovely images Richard, may have to try using the dslr sometime. There were several large prominences today and am still processing all the videos, some have turned out ok. Will post later when I finish more processing.

Hi Jeff,

Looking forward to seeing your images.
DSLR is good for proms but does not give me sharp detailed images of the disc. Still worth a try. With the clear days in Sydney I’m working on an animation of the parade of sunspots visible at present.

Richard.

Nice images of the proms Richard - the weather has not been kind to me lately and Ha images are near impossible. Cheers, John W.
