Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro Mount and Tripod

Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro Mount and Tripod.

The mount was used on my observatory since new, so the tripod has had no use - just stored in the shed till now. Not that that makes a lot of difference to the tripod.

The mount has some minor rust appearing on the counterweight shaft where it was hidden by the weights in the observatory - see close up attached.

Hand piece has had very little use. The mount was controlled using EQ-Direct and EQ-MOD. I have plugged it up and made sure all is working as it should.

There is an extra little cable plugged into the handpiece which is included for free. I think it was probably for an early remote control method before I settled on EQ-MOD. It is not required for normal handpiece operation.

$1250 (was $1500) pickup in Oberon only as I don't have packing for the mount and tripod. I am prepared to assist by driving up to 2 hours to meet halfway for handover if this helps.

A couple of people have asked the age of the mount... so for the record it was new in October 2009, and the mount hasn't done much since 2014.

What’s the payload capacity for this model? I understand the newer versions have a different design.
Thanks

18 kgs AFAIK but I see references to 20kgs.

I used it in the observatory with a C11 and ED80 side by side (plus an L200 spectroscope and SBIG ST8I camera) without any problems for spectroscopy, solar and lunar imaging.
