The camera was a Canon 400D unmodified. The Mount was an EQ6 and the telescope was an 80mm ED refractor @ f5.7

Thanks Andrew, I have an ED80 also (HEQ5 mount), so you have set me a challenge for the future. I think that the 400D is a great camera.

no problem John, I wasn't guiding and the exposures were only about 1min 40 so there is plenty of time there to image.
