This image was taken on Saturday night, 26th May in excellent conditions. There's more data to go through but this is indicative of the quality of the session.
There's a bright white spot in the NNTB that I haven't noticed in my images before - is it new?
Wow, yet again Mike – another image laden with stunning detail. Yes – that white spot looks new, I cannot recollect having seen it before. The Salway Spot?
Mike,
More fantastic results, I tried to image on the 26th but conditions in Melbourne were bad, Jupiter was jumping all over the screen. With the 2.5x power mate results were average but at 5x forget it could not extract much detail with the air turbulance.
The white spot I also noticed and thought I had over exposed but it now explains why it is just in one area. It is very prominant at 2.5x. I will post my results when I have a chance.
