L200 Littrow Spectroscope and Beam Splitter

Selling my L200 Spectroscope, beam splitter and test lamp. This was built from the original kit supplied by merlin66.

It has the original 600 lines/mm grating.

The beam splitter is a Vixen Flip Mirror modified to remove the mirror and replace it with a beam splitter plate. Currently it is fitted with a 75R/25T beam splitter plate i.e. 75% reflected to the L200 and 25% transmitted to the guide camera. There are also 6 off spare 75R/25T beam splitters, and 7 off spare 50/50 beam splitters as well as the original mirror for the Vixen.

There was an upgrade test lamp kit which is also included built into the spectroscope.

Also included is a fair collection of T mount fittings for camera mounting/focussing.

This is the next step up in spectroscopy from the staranalyser.

I was thinking that I'd keep this as a memento I was so happy with the build, but I guess I'd prefer to see it being used for what it's designed to do.

$600 plus postage or pickup in Oberon NSW.

I found some photos of it installed on my scope.

I ended up with it "sideways" to fit the SBIG ST8I on it.
