Believe me I’ve given it some thought but I know if I do it would most probably mean changing my entire setup since my Newt was originally built for visual purposes only and is quite heavy.

Cheers Mick- it definitely punches above its weight and is well paired with the 10” newt - it does the job for what I need for the time being until I sway to the ways of modern astrophotography…..

Oska- thanks for your comment- it’s difficult to rid the noise inherent with a DSLR and is always a balance maintaining the detail in this process. I’ve learnt to get the best out the data it affords but would definitely make life easier if I was to bite the bullet of a proper cooled cam me thinks!
