Omega Centauri

Haven't had much time out under the stars of late but had a go over the weekend on an old fav.
Rolled the roof off and captured 26 min at 30sec subs ISO 800 with Darks & Flats with the newt.

Cheers
Anth

Well done Anthony and nicely processed. It was great to have a few clear nights around with little or no moon in the sky. Top shot!

Thanks Dave, appreciate your comment- it is mind boggling the concentration of stars in the mighty glob.

Cheers Mick - the long weekend coupled with the perfect weather meant it was time to dust the cobwebs off the scope and have a go. It’s a fairly tame DSO to pump out- it’s so bright it really is a snack for the 10” F5.

Great work! I've not had much interest in targeting a globular cluster so far but I think this has given me the inspiration to have a try.
