Can I be completely honest and respectfully suggest neither?
This IMO is a classic example of "just because I can fit all these objects into the frame doesn't mean I should do it"!
Ultimately, the viewer's eye darts from L-R (or top to bottom in your other version) and ultimately rests in the centre, where there is nothing to see.
Both halves compete with each other for attention, which neither ends up getting.
If this feedback is of any value to you, please consider watching my presentation
"Creating Dynamic Images" on the Astro Imaging Channel.
Among many things, I discuss the merits of astrophotographers' composition & framing from a photographer's perspective.
