Another M83

I was hoping to add Ha to this but high cloud tonight has put that on hold. Regardless, the emission nebulae seem to be well visible just with rgb so I thought I'd just go with what I have. A bigger image is on Astrobin with acquisition details, etc, etc.

Really good M83 Kevin, those HII regions stand out nicely for no Ha and I like that its bright. Im interested in the decon/sharpening you used?

Thanks Mike. I used BlurXterminator for deconvolution but dialled it back so there is just a gentle sharpening. I've included the luminance without any deconvolution or sharpening (just noise reduction and stretch) for comparison. The main benefit was reducing star size. I've always been a fan of using gentle deconvolution but never a fan of vigorous deconvolution! It has been a very tedious thing to do in Pixinsight but much easier now though.

Kevin,
That’s a very good result from your location and relatively short integration
Well done !!
M83 is a lovely target to image
Sydney’s been plagued with unusually high temperatures and high humidity for 2 weeks now, it’s a pain especially into the new moon period ( galaxies). Conditions fluctuate so much during the evening , usually good, bad , good , very bad ….., shut down

Really nice result Kevin! Very impressed with the hydrogen regions even without any narrowband data - I always struggle to get those to pop in my images!
