Lagoon with Houghys cooled DSLR

Afrter the wind died down last night I used the 10 inch to get the Triffid er, I mean Lagoon with the cooled DSLR
1x5 and 2x10 mins ISO1600, Idas uv/ir and Baader UHCS filters, MPCC, 10 inch f5.6 newtonian hand guided. Sensor temp 0 degrees. Masked to keep central detail.

Sorry to dissapoint you Scott, but that isn't Trifid. It is Lagoon.

But a fantastic shot of Lagoon

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they look the same under a cooled DSLR

Great shot though, lovely detail in it.

If he wants to call that the triffid he can (even though we know it is the lagoon), but all I can say is WOW I am gobsmaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eye pop:
