Almost brand new, ZWO ASI220MM Mini for sale. This model is their most recent release and an upgrade from the ASI220MM. Very well suited for higher focal length setups and OAGs.
Purchased this one month ago. Has only been connected to the PC to test as this camera is a little different from other ZWO's.
If you just install the drivers, Windows will detect the camera but none of the imaging software will as they havn't updated their software to detect the new camera (this is the same with FireCapture and PHD2).
I had a chat with ZWO and along with the camera drivers you need to install the SDK. This involves downloading the SDK files from the ZWO website and copying over the relevant .DLL file into your imaging capturing software. Happy to send through their documentation.
The camera came with a very minor chip on the edge of the front. I contacted ZWO and they said I would need to send it back for them to check it, etc but I didn't bother as the turnaround would have been about a month. It is only cosmetic as the camera works perfectly.
I purchased it locally for $449 as the dollar was higher a month ago and it was $440 (at the time) direct from ZWO so for an extra $10 I got it locally and quicker. As the dollar has dropped its around $420 direct from ZWO.
I am asking $395 firm pickup or + shipping. Might suit buyers locally who want to save $25 as after shipping will be close to ZWO's price unless you dont want to wait for shipping from China.
