Seagull

Still in the process of dialling in my setup and getting it ready for some new moon trips.

In the meantime I have been capturing some HA of the seagull that I thought I would share. I took the best subs from about 10 hours of data, they were quite variable due to me experimenting with different settings. This is about 4h of data.

Find below the Seagull, and the new moon setup.

Thanks Mike! I've had the van for a while now, My wife and I both work remotely, and so we sometimes use it to travel around. I have only recently attempted some dark sky trips in her. Hopefully this new moon I will have some luck, the last few I have been clouded out.

Transporting / setting up such a substantial setup is definitely interesting. It breaks down a little bit, but getting the scope in and out of the saddle by myself can be interesting.

Yeah nice start indeed. I almost didn't recognise the Seagull.. that focal length is something else.

Plus, the van is brilliant I've thought about something similar! A nice mobile semi-observatory.

Nice sharp seagull Peter. You've upsized your equipment since I saw you last.
A new moon van - what a great idea.
