I have imaged this part of the sky before but I felt given the poor seeing last time spoilt the image. Given our great seeing out at Swan Reach it was high time to reimage this area. I am happy to say that the results are more pleasing than my last.

The image is taken with the second AG12 we have at Swan Reach Imaging. The camera is a QSI683WSG-8. Integration was nearly 52 hours with nearly 33 hours being for Ha.

I have also included a starless version just for interest sake. I am generally not a huge fan of starless but this appears to work ok in this instance.

Supererb capture Paul . I have to agree the starless version looks the better of the two.

That's a lovely area Paul and I expect difficult to process with the faint overlay of (I assume) blue emission nebula. Very nicely handled for an excellent result

Thanks guys. Your comments are appreciated.

Rodney the Ha was the hardest of the lot. It takes a lot of hours to get a smooth image of that filter.
