Eagleview made the paper

Late last year I posted my first light image of the galaxy NGC 1232, on the Michelago (the region where Eagleview is) Community Noticeboard Facebook page and a Journalist saw it and contacted me to do a story, of course I obliged

. Well, it finally appeared in the Sunday Canberra Times yesterday!

As is common these days in journalism, there aaaare a couple of inaccuracies

like err?.., uuuum, I didn't "carry" a 27Ton B-Double!

I pulled it 20m

. However, I am happy the need to keep our regions skies "dark" was mentioned in the piece

All good fun and you can see the actual newspaper page HERE and I have attached the digital version too

...I'm officially a "boffin"

It's not new. I have a clipping from the 1970's of astro club members 'with their 10" microscope'.

Clipboards are only for those of us who have to conduct the safety inspections.
