Over the long weekend I finally managed to find some time to finish collimating the Beamtech 250 (one of Stefans works) and I have to say I am impressed with the full frame coverage.

This is four hours of RGB; 40x120s each channel unguided with a QHY600. Big sensor with small pixels! I did capture 1.5 hours of Ha but I need to retake the 600s darks as I've updated the drivers since I took them and now they're not playing nice with the new flats.

I'll upload a full resolution version once Astrobin allows me to, the Uploader isn't loading for whatever reason at the moment.

This is a preliminary test, seeing hasn't been great but with a couple of hours to play with under light polluted skies, why not

Why not indeed, we have to seize any opportunity with the weather these days & this was clearly worth the effort. The Beamtech 250
(I had to Google it) looks like a perfect match for the QHY600 & with performance like that out of the box it's sure to gain a following.
Thanks for posting this Colin. ,
