Richmond, more than fossils

Hi all.

This item in ABC will be of interest to some, since many of us have multiple interests:

Add to it Winton. The fossil museums and activities are excellent. In September 2021 I needed a break, so drove to Winton, then later back up to Richmond. Both excellent for star gazing. Winton’s Age of Dinosaurs site at the jump-up about 20k from town is a dark sky sanctuary. At Richmond I found Fossil site 1 the best site to set up for astronomy. Had vacation there too in July/ August last year. Now on my list for every year I can - fossils by day, stars by night. Not for the wet season (summer).

Clear skies (soon, please)
