Weird Camera issue

Hey guys I have a weird problem I hope someone will be able to help with.

I have an ASI183MM Pro and I'm having issues when cooling. I can get the camera to cool fine, but when I take an exposure using NINA it seems to expose okay until the end of the exposure and then I get a noise on the PC like the USB has been disconnected. Then I get an error saying download from the camera has failed.

I've tried with 2 different power supplies including the one that I use with the mount so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue.
It also seems fine when not using the cooling

Not the same camera, but I have NINA installed on my portable system. I use a Canon 450d and at least 3 or 4 times a night the download from the camera to laptop fails. Also during polar alignment I have to switch the camera on and off in NINA to make it work. I at first thought it was NINA but have now found out the issue is with the laptop I am using and its ability to power the communications to the camera. This could be a similar issue

A few checks ,

Maybe check all your drivers are updated ( both camera , Laptop and NINA )

Check your USB cables are ok ( you may require a few new spare USB cables to check and compare connectivity)

Check USB cable lengths
USB2 recommended for up to 5m
USB3 recommended for up to 1m
USB3 “active” and “repeater” cables OK for up to 10m ( I’ve used many Startech 5m active USB3A to USB3B cables for 5 years and not one has failed on me )

Also check USB Power Management to ensure you have adequate USB power ( see attached )

USB power management looks like it could be a culprit - have turned it all to 'don't turn off' and my test dark exposures inside the house seemed to go ok - I couldn't let a new moon with a clear sky go to waste so I am doing a quick test on M42 as we speak - touch wood all seems to be going well SO FAR
