Very good, Fabio

Not sure if you've been asked this before at IceInSpace, but which filter wheel and filters are you using?

How long do you capture for each channel.

What capture settings do you use: fps, exp, gain etc ?

Many thanks

Hi Matt,

thanks!

I use one "hand made" manual filter wheel(image attached) with Meade CCD interference filters(B-440 Blue, G-550 Green and LA-200 Red). For each channel I capture 40 seconds with 1/30s and 30fps. The gain is variable, 60% to 95% depending on the channel. Well, I´m still learning to make images using filters so, maybe the parameters that I use do not are the best ones... in any way, I hope to improve the results with the time.

regards,
Fabio

Another great image, Fabio! What's with this South down orientation?

Lovely picture of your filter wheel! Do you still focus manually?

Do you ever re-focus between colour channels? I find that sometimes it's required and other times not, very dependant on the conditions.

Hi Fabio,
Very nice image, great work
The GRS is well detailed, and i'm impressed
by the SEBs, which is very pale now and quiet.

Clear skies,

Hi all,
sorry the late, I was travelling... Many thanks for the comments guys!

Hi, Mike,
I love this position of Jupiter(south down).. this orientation seems to me much more a "planet view".. well, only my personal taste.
Yes, I make the focus manually and also I need to re-focus, specially when the seeing is not so good.

best regards,
Fabio
