First Light - Carina

First light for G11, ASI2600MC & BT200 so of course it's Carina, as is tradition.

Smooth as for about 2 hrs then clouds....

90mins of 90s @ 100g 50o -10C uncalibrated.

You must be very happy with such a great result for first go with all of it...do you ride the small mount to the shops?

That can't have been to far above the horizon?..

Firstly John, how lucky are you to have some clear night sky! Secondly, great image mate … that’s an excellent result with your new setup (congrats too). Lots (and lots) of great detail and I reckon you’ve nailed the colour with those subtle rusty red tones. Alex

The trolley's made with a stunt 16" bmx so it can do all sorts of tricks but it's not rego'd so the shops are out. I still might put streamers on the ends of the hand grips, fancy. I think it was about 20 deg.

I'm feelin' lucky I was/am totally blown away how much data that rig grabs and how fast! Man, the clouds have been so painful lately. Been torturing myself trying to grab (M45) in the gaps :/
I actually did the bare minimum processing (uncalibrated even)
BlurX->NoiseX->GH Stretch->StarX->Saturation curve(the very slightest)->very slight star reduction (BB#3-softest)
So she's basically au-naturale.

I'll call it "lucky imaging", in that I was lucky to get an image

John, a lovely effort with the BT200! I see the secondary is still nice and central giving you gorgeous diffraction spikes. It only took me 3 months to work that out.
