The Astroworx permanent piers are constructed from aluminium alloy. Four aluminium side struts are bolted between the pier tube and the base plate to eliminate side flexure of the tube assembly under heavy or off-centre loads.
EQ6 Pier Adapter Plate features Delrin Plastic anti-friction mount supports and provides four recessed mounting holes (180mm x 180mm square pattern) to mount the plate. The pier adapter plate also includes four mounting bolts, an Azimuth Adjustment Post and a M12 Centre Bolt with Fluted Plastic Knob and Flat Bearing. Compatible with all EQ6 Series mounts.
