are there any measurements that tell you how far apart the primary to secondary should be??????

Depends on focal length of primary and - believe it or not - diam of tube!

Are you trying to centre the 2ndry up and down the tube?

yeah John B told me when he saw it that it wasnt the right distance apart ???? It looks fine to me nice clear images but im only newish to it all.......

Hi Anthony, centre the diagonal under the focuser, once this is done you get the offset you need dude !

When you look square down the focuser tube the 2ndry should be very close to centre. See diagram below. Never centre it exactly as it needs to be a fraction off dead centre.
