23rd Dec Sunspots

23rd Dec. A clear patch of sky amongst the clouds this morning allowed me to capture this single exposure image of the sunspots on the sun. Taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to a 81 mm WO refractor, herschel wedge at 540 nm. Cheers to all for Christmas.

Good capture there John. Most of the action has moved to the northern hemisphere.
