Ar3153

First sunlight with my 120mm refractor.
Good optics for an achromat.
Seeing was only average.

I've included a shot of Jupiter taken a couple of nights ago. Matched the view through the scope nicely.

Great images Richard, especially considering those spots are pretty close to the limb. Some really good detail. What brand is your new scope?

Hi Peter,

It’s a Skywatcher Evostar. It’s a simple achromatic scope not the ED model.

Richard.

Thanks Richard. Still a nice scope and just fine for single wavelength solar work. You've proven it with some good images already
