Tarantula NGC2070

First night out with new AM5 and asiair plus. Would have been happy to just get some basics done, let alone some actual imaging. Lots of high cloud moving in and out meaning loss of guiding and at times loss of object behind clouds, but managed 14 X 120 second frames out of 20, plus darks before the clouds covered the entire sky.
With so few frames I decided to try some image stacking in ASI Studio stacker. Limited compared to DSS, but did a pretty fair job.

A very fine effort Phillip, well done. And welcome to IIS. Some nice detail emerging after just 28 minutes. Hopefully you can get some clear nights and add more data to this. It’s a beautiful region of the sky with so much going on.

Regards,
Stephane

Nice work! I agree ASISTUDIO while limited in options can be a great suite for a quick session. I still use the fits viewer to blink through and eliminate poor quality subs on every project.
