Twilight Jupiter

We wanted to try to get Io just before it was occulted by Jupiter and while the GRS was still visible. Unfortunately this was barely in twilight. This image was taken at 8:37pm. After it was a bit darker we took another image when Europa was also approaching Jupiter's limb, at 9:55pm.

Both solid images, despite the challenges. Well done!

Nice images! Bit of an orange rind effect going on- did you process them differently due to the twilight? Great detail as usual!

Thanks David. No, not processed any differently to usual, its just the effects of imaging in near daylight.
