7th Oct. It rained for most of the day but I managed to get a couple pics of the sunspots thru a clear patch of sky.
The two yellow images are single exposures with a Canon 550d camera attached to a 81 mm WO refractor with Herschel wedge at 540 nm wavelength.
Later in the day another blue patch of sky allowed me to get a couple of pics of some prominences at Halpha wavelength 656 nm (the sun was low in the west and no time for any more pics).

Good work dodging the clouds and rain John. We had to be in Geelong this afternoon and if we had a scope, there were some opportunities. Thanks for posting your pics as that is as close as we got today
