Jupiter Opposition 26/09/2022

Jupiter last night at 11:10pm with good seeing conditions.
First night out with the SVBONY SV305 Pro Camera.

2 minute video captured in SharpCap, stacked in AutoStakkert, wavelets in RegiStax, edited in PaintDotNet. Image resized larger in RegiStax.
Gain 250, exposure 8.2ms, ROI 320 x 320, 14632 total frames captured in the 2 minute video at 122fps, 10% stacked, resized 200% larger in RS using the Mitchell filter.

Saxon 8" Maksutov (fl 2500mm, f/12.5)
SVBONY SV305 Pro
Celestron UV/IR Cut filter
Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 Pro

Well that turned out about as good as you'll ever get with an 8 inch scope. Fantastic result Dave, good colour and nicely processed. It certainly looked as though you had good seeing conditions - some real lucky imaging for you! Well done for getting out there and taking advantage of it. I'm very envious of your result.

Cheers everyone. Just glad to get a clear sky and some decent seeing for a change. It was a good night for it.

I'll start working on an animated gif soon from about 15 or so videos.
