Taking the Modified Toucam even Deeper

Hi all,

I spent last night (7 April 2007) pushing the limits even further with the Modified Toucam!

Considering the Moon was washing out DSO's and the seeing was garbage, I still managed to get some Galaxies Groups!!! Deepest I've been!!!!!!!!!!

I will post the 3 Galaxy Groups here and see if anyone can mark on them which
Galaxies they are. I will post the answers to the ones I know later.

I know which ones they are, but I can see even more galaxies in the pics than are shown on Cartes du Ciel. Be good if someone named them all for me.

Here they are. Modified Toucam DEEP!

Thanks Andrew.

Pity I had to cut the brightness back so far, but they were almost washed out with light. They are very long exposures and collected every bit of Moonlight available

Anyone recognise any of them yet?

I had to give some sort of hint

Yep, probably lots more Galaxies, but none of the very faint ones are mapped!

To add another Galaxy Cluster to the melting pot, here is a recent image I took that Bert asked me to send him so he could get rid of the Amp Glow. After Bert had removed the Amp Glow there are even more than I originally thought!!!!!

The Cluster is in Doradus. Captured with the Modded Toucam again.

Thanks Mike.

It is through the ED80 with a 0.5x Focal Reducer. The Toucam is equal to a 6mm EP, so the FOV should be the same as using a 12mm EP.

I was suprised that I captured so many Galaxies!!!
