14th Sept Sunspots

14th Sept. A clear sky today (so far) but rain coming. Sunspot group AR 3098 continues to dominate as it approaches the western limb. A new group AR3102 has developed in the SE sector. I could not see AR3096, nor 3099 near the center of the sun. AR 3092 and 3097 can't be seen near the SW limb. This single exposure image was taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to a Herschel wedge (set to 540 nm) and WO 81 mm scope.
Compare with my image of 12th Sept (shown first).
Thanks for viewing.

It was great to have clear sky this morning. Great capture and comparison John. It is interesting that regions are just appearing and disappearing quite a bit at the moment. Always changing
