Great shot

Look around the 39 second mark in this video to see from another but not so exciting angle. https://youtu.be/wzaPuV44a6o

Wow that is just awesome, I would give anything to be so close to that.

I hate to be the misery-guts who ruins the day...

I will wager the photo was taken with a long telephoto lens that's been zoomed a long way in. Doing so has the effect of flattening the foreground and background together.

Still a cool photo, though, and one that requires a lot of prep-work to get right. So kudos to the photographer.

I'll go one step further and say the whole thing is photo shopped and that plane was not there, not going that fast in that confined space, with those, or any people present.
Have a close look at the people and think what would they be doing if there was a jet fighter going damn fast only meters away. I would be on my belly hoping to hell he misses me.
I've stood on the deck of a warship and looked DOWN into the cockpit if an F111 flying past. Everyone was looking at the same spot, not everyone in that picture are looking at the pretty jet fighter. In fact only a couple of them are.
Yes, you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties.

Here is what I saw from my location alongside the river - those lucky enough to be on the top of buildings, or on balconies, obviously got a more exciting, close-up view of the spectacle.

Cheers
