This scope was purchased new by myself and only used a few times until i upgraded to an Esprit 120ed.
So up for sale is the complete scope and carry case and all the bits and pieces that came with the kit.
The scope is in pristine unmarked condition and would suit a new buyer.

Hi Paul my understanding is that SW ED80 has been sold in a few configurations for around 15 years.

Can you please be more specific about what is included and its approximate age?

e.g. I think they've sold single and dual speed focusers over the years.

Hi Rob,
Included is as follows

* Evostar 80ED with dual speed focuser.
* 2" mirror diagonal
* 2" to 1.25"adaptor for the diagonal
* 2" to 1.25" adaptor with M42 thread
* 8x50 finderscope
* Eyepiece LET 28mm
* Tube rings with vixen style bar
* piggyback 1/4" screw with camera locking nut
* Foam lined aluminium carrying case.

All aprox 18 months old.

An ED100 was sold only a few weeks ago for $750.

I realise the 100 is a little slower but I'm coming from a 1250 f/10 SCT so I'm used to those larger focal lengths and almost contacted the Brisbane guy despite his "no postage" rule.

The tax man was kind this year so I temporarily have money in the bank for a $750 purchase (plus postage) if that's in your acceptable range.

I usually check forums only once a day and check email notifications even less often, so a lack of response for 24 hours is NOT an indication that I've lost interest
