K2 Panstarrs 31st August

I might leave this comet for a few weeks just to see if it brightens any more than it is now. I don't think it has brightened much over the last couple of months so it may not turn out as good as everyone had hoped it would be. I may be proven wrong as the weeks progress but we will see.... This was taken from a dark sky at Alexandra, Victoria on Wednesday night. The only thing that spoilt this session was a heavy dew that saturated all my gear and fogged up my lens. Same gear as last one, modded Canon 550d, Tamron 500mm SP mirror lens and tracked with a iOptron Sky Tracker Pro.

Good capture. It's still definitely dew shield and dew heater weather. We had both the other night in Melbourne. The dew in Alexandra would have been pretty impressive. Hope the gear is OK.
