Hi again. This animation was made from the AVI's we took using my scope with a 3x barlow. It was slightly earlier in the night from when we used astro_south's scope so the GRS was more central. Unfortunately my scope doesn't produce as nice crisp images as the other Andrew's Dob.
I think I need a 16" Lightbridge. I think I'll go and talk to the Minister for Finance right away.
I'll tack on the other animation using astro_south's scope for comparison purposes. I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine which was taken with the 8" Dob and which was taken with the 12.5" Dob.
