Inflation

Have a look at the list of “wanted”, it’s huge. Anything you need or want buy today, either new or second hand as prices are sky rocketing.

Don't panic...and if you say it and believe it that is what you will find...so try saying in effect the opposite and see how things will improve...trust me that really works.
What do you want or need anyways?

I don't watch fiction but watched an old movie to get an idea of the times my parents lived in when I was born a long time ago...one scene.. coffee five cents and doughnuts five cents...no tv or computers...what do you pay force coffee these days?

In 2014, I bought a 10" f/5 GSO dob from Andrews new for $649.

The same telescope now costs $1,299 as per their website. Yes, double the price plus (just to add insult to injury) $1.

OTOH, the 8" is just $200 more now than the 10" was 8 years ago and isn't actually that much worse in terms of what it shows

By a long shot, the biggest inflation hit has been to renters. Seems driving your fellow citizens into poverty has become the new norm for the landed gentry.
