I am retiring my Astro gear:
1. 12” F15 OMI Classical Cass. Reflector
2. AP 9cn F11 classic refractor
3. Takahashi E180 OTA + EQ8 head + HC. Steel pier is free.
4. 12” F5 Newt. OTA c/w 10:1 focuser + 7x50 f/scope + Paramount GT1100 Eq. mount with 12” belt driven Byers RA drive + 8” Dec + GOTO HC.
5. Home-made EQ mount with 12” Byers RA drive + 2’ dia. SS matching worm, 10” dia. Thomas Mathis Dec. + HC, Payload maxes out at 250kgs. Can be dismantled on site and taken away in a Ute, not a small car !!
