The Cat's Paw

NGC 6334 in SHO. Taken in suburban Adelaide over 4 nights between clouds, dew, frost and some rather scary bats that have taken to roosting in the nearby trees!

About 5 hours in each channel. Taken with a ZWO 294MM Pro on a GSO RC8 and an AP Mach1.

I always love the starfleet logo in the middle of the paw

Full details and higher res on Astrobin here.

Super shot! Glad to see you overcame Mother Nature to bring this beautiful view - gotta watch out for bat droppings tho it’s really bad news!
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to unsee the logo in the middle now lol

Very nice. Lots of cool detail in that yellow/orange/blue palette.

wow that really pops, excellent colour processing and you've smoothed the noise out whilst retaining detail well.

Thank you, Fred. Actually, there was very little noise reduction used. The Ha was very low noise - and I used that as a luminance layer after creating a colour SHO image (which was more noisy of course).
