Enjoying Ha - M8 + M20

Enjoying the opportunities & detail that Ha imaging gives. No worries about what the moon is up to and the mesmerising interplay of dust, gas & light that it brings out of what seems nowhere - fantastic. Can't wait to be able to add SII & OIII to my narrowband armoury.

M8 (Lagoon Nebula) & M20 (Trifid Nebula) in Ha. Just fits the coverage of the 294MM. 9 x 10 minute subs.

Cheers,
Mark

I love HA ... sometimes I just point at a random region in one of the "M Clouds" to surprise myself with what appears.

I am looking forward to the moment when you present your final image for these objects as you are off to a great start.
