Might be worth firing up the webcam

A moderate high pressure system over the top of the SE of the continent at the moment.

Might be worth having a go at ol' joops...again!

Scope is setup, ready to go.. They're predicting rain for the morning. I hope that doesn't mean clouds overnight.

I had Orion in my sights for an hour and a half tonight. Turned the dome around and beheld a complete canopy of thick cloud. As I watched in horror, it swallowed Orion and now I'm back inside.........

Ah well......

Was out from 11pm till about 12:15am. Seeing was very ordinary early on, started improving just as the clouds came rolling in so it put an end to anything good coming out.

It was about 50/50 cloud and clear down here this morning, I had a quick look through the binoculars at Jupiter and Mars but I had to go to work so no scope work.

Cheers
