Pushing Houghys cooled DSLR with the 300mm lens

Howdy
Tonight I went a full hour's worth on one area. Moon is up so used narrowband imaging, 7nm Ha filter
The 300mm Flourite lens from Bert was used, @f2.8
Sensor temp 2 degrees. A single dark, flat and offset was used.
Area is near Eta Carina
4x15 minutes hand guided

The combination of the Flourite lens , cooled sensor and narrowband Baader 7Nm Ha filter makes a mockery of any moonlight present

Fantastic Ha image. An even more remarkable effort being hand guided. I thought hand guiding went out with film.

I assume you used a 2" H alpha filter. Where can you purchase such a beast?
By the way - a really great shot

Heres an image taken with the 5DH and 300mm F2.8L and exactly the same field. Download both and flicker between the two.
